Fire Prevention Week Open House / Colouring Contest

October starts fire prevention week and Union Bay Fire Rescue would like to invite the community to stop by the hall for a coffee and doughnut on Sunday Oct 3, from 10:00am to 1:00pm.
*****
Union Bay Fire Rescue is also inviting younger residents to email the fire hall pictures of their coloured Fire Prevention posters or their own illustrations showing the importance of working smoke alarms.

Open Burning Ban Lifted within the Union Bay Fire Protection Area.

Effective at 12:00 (noon) Pacific Standard Time, Thursday September 16, 2021, all open fires will again be permitted throughout the Coastal Fire Centre’s jurisdiction. The lifting of the ban is the result of recent rainfall that has reduced the wildfire risk in the region, along with the return of seasonal temperatures.

Thank You to Alexis and Gloria Royer

Union Bay Fire Rescue would like to say…….
