Have you ever wanted to learn the art of makeup for simulation purposes – just like in the movies?
Moulage is the art of casualty simulation makeup. This moulage training is being offered by St John Ambulance over three consecutive evenings (April 3, 4 and 5th – 6:00-9:00 PM) to support the CFB Comox/19 Wing and CV Airport full-scale Air Disaster Exercise (April 11th).
Moulage Training – April 3, 4 and 5th – 6:00-9:00 PM:

- Session 1 – learn about the type of make-up that is being used, safe practices and bloodborne pathogens, followed by a practical session on “getting to know your moulage kit”
- Session 2 – make up for shock, smoke inhalation, minor wounds, and road rash.
- Session 3 – major lacerations, deformity, broken bones, and burns.
Air Disaster Exercise – April 11, 0600 AM-12:00 PM:

- Application of moulage makeup on exercise ‘casualties’ (priority 1, 2 and 3)
Registration: By registering, you are committing to attend all three (3) training sessions AND full participation in moulage application on the day of the exercise day. Space is limited.
